Continuing Education
As a component of our commitment to quality, all our professional staff are required to maintain a minimum of 80 hours of professional education every 2 years. Additional hours are also required for specialized areas such as employee benefit plans, governmental entities and other niche services. We participate in courses sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of CPAs and other professional organizations.

S|B|F|R, and its predecessor firm, participates in the profession’s triennial peer review program, under the rigorous requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and received unmodified reports with no letters of comment for the past 7 peer reviews.
