Anthony specializes in providing assurance, tax and specialty advisory services, including complex estate, tax and business planning, to SBFR’s closely-held businesses and high net worth clients. His experience encompasses clients in a broad range of industries, including: manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, construction, leasing/financing, and not-for-profit.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Niagara University. After beginning his career with a large regional accounting firm in Buffalo, he formed his own CPA firm in 1976 where he served small-to-middle sized businesses and high net worth individuals. For the following 35 years, his firm continued to grow and prosper, serving some of Western New York’s most prominent companies.

From its inception, Anthony’s firm participated in the triennial Peer Review Program as prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and received unmodified opinions, with no comments, on every review. This type of report is received by only a small percentage of all CPA firms reviewed.

He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and has had numerous community affiliations over the years. Anthony is a member of advisory boards of certain clientele and serves as the outsourced Chief Financial Officer for a large real estate company.
